We were given a brief to design type out of anything originally south african that we find interesting, for the Ijusi magazine, I decided to design a taxi type because I take a taxi almost everyday so i thought it best to design what I'm naturally used to, the "A" was my struggling point but once I found a formula to design the type the rest became very easy and I was done in two days of working on it when I had time because I had other projects also at that time. It was interesting to design something like this because now I understand a bit of what type designers go through.
